I have a brand new one that I bought for my 1990 Blazer. It's a Walker PN 40357. I ended up not needing it. I paid $125.

$75 + shipping and it's yours.

It has a 3" outlet.

You can figure out shipping from 20164 online if you want. I paid $15 I think. I got it via UPS ground.

your in sterling? ill be back in fairfax for the next month, so ur just down the street from me. i just need to double check that a stock Y will still work on my truck. i'll let you know

Oh, yeah, I just noticed your location! Yeah, anytime. I'm right near Route 7 and the 7100 (Fairfax County Parkway).

Just PM me and I'll give you the address.

When I first got it I didn't think it would fit, but I eyeballed it and it seems fine. Obviously, you need to have the stock exhaust manifolds.

I also have the spring bolts and gaskets, so let me know if you want those otherwise I am going to return them.

ill be home this weekend, so ill check and let you know. thanks man

Its for the 350. A 6.2 conversion may be in the long-term plan. But for now, my current dual exhaust is rusty and leaking. The old flo-pro mufflers are just annoying now. So I'm thinking for simplicity just to run a single exit exhaust with a quiet, high-flo muffler.

I'm open to suggestions though, I've thought of finding an exhaust kit like edelbrock's with shorty headers that go to the muffler and then a flowmaster kit for the back half.. its so tempting... see what happens when you paint your K5?! It looks so good that you want to spend more on it! LOL. I have to get some pics up for you guys soon. It looks just like Gamma's but without the lift kit or painted grille. And the bedliner is gorgeous inside and on the topper

Sounds good man.

I was asking because I've heard rumors that the 6.2L exhaust manifolds exit in exactly the same spot as the SBC's so you can use SBC intended exhaust parts to make a single exhaust for your 6.2L. Was wondering if you were going there.

I haven't heard that confirmed. Just repeated as rumor several times. I know a member on here had a truck that was a diesel and had a dead engine when he got it. Said he simply bolted the existing diesel dual exhaust to the 350 he installed's manifolds and it all lined up nicely.

Flowmaster has a nice 3" setup. Not a fan of the mufflers but the mandrel bent pipe alone makes it worth it. It's meant to go behind a catalytic convertor though so for a diesel we'd need to come up with all the pipe forward of that. Shouldn't be too hard if we simply have to get a factory Y pipe and then a few feet of 3" pipe from there to the start of the Flowmaster setup.

I'm considering going with the Edelbrock TES system on the TBI now.. I could always sell it down the road to the guys on here when I go diesel. Make a nice set up for now.

Here is a good quote I found from Thunder:
The Edelbrock TES is a bolt on system that replaces the stock manifolds with shorty SS headers, and the stock y pipe with a high flow y pipe. It is a stock bolt in replacement up to the cat convertor. It is a good solid system. Mine is 10 years old and never a leak. The headers are stainless steel so you dont have to worry about rust.
From the cat back:
Flowmaster makes a good cat back bolt on system for K5s that works good.

You're right about the Cat-delete idea, we don't require them here anyway (bought the truck without one).

I'm just trying to find out where I could buy the same system that Thunder had. I couldnt find it on the Edelbrock website. I PM'd him to find out more details on it.

Wonder if anyone makes a mandrel bent version?

Different frames, different exhaust manifolds, different engine mounts, different bodies/firewalls...my bet is no...or at least not bold in and fit like it was made to be there.
