Well my plans of going to the big block are out, so I am just going to go back to the small block setup, but with an automatic now...
I am looking for a TH 350 ("K" case) w/ converter and flywheel cover in Texas... I am not looking to travel far... if you have the throttle kickdown cable and the linkage for it to mate to the carb that would be great... I am looking for about an inch of stickout on the 27 spl shaft. Also if it has been recently rebuilt that would be a plus also... thanks guys...

Would you be willing to seperate the two, and how much? I only need the tranny and the available hardware... what condition is the th350 in? how many miles? does it come with the torque converter, throttle kickdown cable? Is it the "K" case? And I need for the shaft stickout to be only an inch from the tail...

I know this to be true on the 700r4 and I have heard talk about this... the "K"case is the stronger case th350 and has a big fat K stamped into the side of the thing... could you answer any of my other questions...?

there is definitly a K case th350. i craked mine a long time ago and the cheapest k-case i could find at the time was $650(just the case). needless to say i just kept dumping ATF in it until i found somebody who wasnt smoking crack for breakfast lunch and dinner!

Yea, no kidding... I just found a guy that rebuilds 700-R4's without having to hookup any wires other than what you would normally have to for a th350... he seems to have found a pretty good way of rebuilding them as well makes them last... He is also using the new sun shells that just came out about a month ago or so... they're supposed to be pretty damn strong... not like th400, but I'm told it could hold its own... atleast for what a small block can throw at it...
