I need the aluminum piece that holds the driven speedo gear in place. It needs to fit a mechanical speedo for a NP208 and is for the 35-39 tooth gears.

I have one I can pull off this weekend. $10 shipped as long as it fits a small flat rate box.

You can buy a new one from these people. http://www.transmissioncenter.org/speedometer_gear_housing.htm

The 700R4 housing is the same as the one for the NP208/241 T-case and it is $12.00 for a plastic one or $47.00 for the aluminum one.

EDIT: This website says the TH400 is the same as the NP208 and that housing is $56.00. I have personally used a 700R4 housing in a NP208/241 t-case in the past.

Ya I just ordered a new gear from them and I was looking to try to save some $$ on finding a used one. And with my luck, a plastic one wouldn't last 2 weeks.

I just checked all 5 of the 208 extension housings we have on the shelf and they are all cut for the TH-400 sized speedo housing. If you still have the original housing it should have an engineering/part number cast into it in small print. If you can get that number, or an accurate measurement of the outside diameter of the housing I will send one out to you.
