This rear moulding piece. I've been looking for an hour and I cant find it. I'm beyond pissed. Backed into a tree in my bosses truck. Honest mistake **** was in a blind spot and now I'm suddenly some immature kid because of it. Could have it fixed by our body guy here in a whopping hour but he insists it go to a body shop...

wtf is the circled piece.

The molding itself is an adhesive molding. Back when they were new you could get the exact molding from GM, proper length with the finished edges. Now, assuming the truck is the same vintage as the one in the pic, you have to buy a length of the molding and cut it to fit. There are several styles used through the years so you have to find the matching style. Then you'll get it in like a 10 foot length or something like that. Most body shops will have an old assortment of these moldings they use for repairs like this. After they repair the panel they will cut a length off the roll, cut the edges to fit the panel and stick it on the truck. And if they couldn't find the right style to match what was on the truck, they would pull them all off and replace all of them with a similar style so they would all match.

I used to be a parts guy for a very busy body shop...
