1/2 ton status
Need to sell my beast. it is a 1984 military M1009 CUCV Chevy Blazer. Comes with a 6.2l diesel engine with almost 80k miles on it. I've probably dumped close to 8k total into this rig because I am stupid like that. If you want a badass crawler/mud/ranch/fishing truck, this is the one you want.
Stuff done to it:
Dana 60 front axle
14 bolt FF rear axle with detrot locker and disc brakes.
4.56 gears
Pinion guard
New diff cover
Rock sliders/side steps
Crossover steering
Steering stabilizer
Custom double beadlock hummer wheels with PVC insert, skull rock rings, 37" tires
Warn locking hubs
Tactical armor group wincher front bumper.
Full roll cage with spare tire mount
Offroad design 4" shackle flip and lift with rough country shocks and springs up front.
ORD frame plate and steering box brace.
New batteries
Probably some other stuff I can't remember right now.
What it needs:
It need a couple fuel return lines replaced between the injectors that have started dripping and it has some body rust. the transmission is having trouble shifting out of first gear when taking off.
I will have a current inspection done before it is sold. I wouldn't recommend this truck as a daily driver. Top speed is about 65ish and it can get a bit wobbly sometimes. It could probably use new tie rod ends and an alignment.
Asking 5,000.00 cash money, no trades. If you buy it for that price, ill throw in the M101A3 military trailer for free. Any reasonable offers considered. Located south of San Antonio, Texas. I need this thing gone now. Any reasonable offers considered!
