1/2 ton status
My buddy lost interests in his K5 build up and decided to keep the motor and get rid of the truck. It is 99% rust free. The body is in very good condition, paint isnt bad. Its dark gray and black. It is complete minus the motor. The trans was rebuilt when he got it about 5 years ago, but hasnt ran in 5 years, so the tranny, T case and diffs would need the fluids changed. Its all stock, no lift, has front mount trailer hitch (for moving boats around). The topper is gray/black (cant remember) but has no cracks. The electrical system will have to be check out in the engine bay. This was a TBI truck and my buddy tried to go Carb with it, so who knows what they did with the wiring. Not sure if the A/C stuff is still there are not. The seats are junk, they base rusted away and the seats themselves are shreded. The rear seat is still in good shape. The truck had a 350cid. it has 700r tranny and whateve Trans case was during those times. Its all entact. Theoretically, just drop a motor and go. They actually had the motor in it and ran, but forgot a freeze plug up front and had to pull the motor out and just never got it back in.
He has clear title for it, itll obviously need towed away
. Also have access to a 14FF that was under a Blazer at one time. The blazer burnt up, but the axle wasnt touched, I have no idea what is stuff inside (gears, lockers, etc). its still under the Blazer.
Not sure what he wants for it or what to ask. Not sure what the rules in here are pertaining to price. But someone serious would need to contact me and we can go from there. I can get pics in the next few weeks, itll be awhile b4 I get back up there. This would be a very good base vehicle for someone to swap their own motor and axles (although it still has the 10b). The body and frame are good shape, no rust.
