WTT: Your stock truck for one of the best Burbs around...

I want to see if anyone would be interested in a straight across trade for my 88 V10 4x4 1/2 ton Suburban. I am looking for an OBS/NBS Chevy (94+), pretty much stock. Your truck = clean, 4x4, 5.7L/5.3L, no lift, no accidents, maintained, straight with good paint and interior. You must have title in hand, and older then 18 years.

In exchage, I offer my Burb. This is probably one of the baddest ass old Burbs on the block, and trust me- it's worth it. To start, 63k original miles, super strong 5.7L with a nice shifting 700R4. I just drove this truck 1,900 miles with a 4,000lb trailer and it didn't even hiccup once. It drove perfectly, even pulling continuous grades for hours. There isn't a single squeak or creak in the entire truck. Again, you will not find a better one. It seats 9 and the interior is in great shape! All maintenance is current. I live in Pittsburgh, PA so anyone within driving distance might be interested?

Just more of a feeler to be honest. I am either going to have to get a newer truck or keep the burb and get an older beater for winter cruising.

You ever had anything nice, and were so worried about it turning sh!tty that you wanted to sell it before it fell from grace?

I was able to keep my truck garaged in a nice dry place out West. Now, the truck is an outside truck and will be here in the midwest winters and humidity. I guess I am just afraid that it won't hold up and then it will just be another beater before long. It's something special now. After a few winters, I don't think it will be that special anymore.

Is that neurotic, or do you guys understand?

I understand, I needed to work on the k-5 and let it sit for over a year because the windows died and now im looking for a whole new tub. Id try to talk you into a deal on my DD but I owe 15k on it

Does this Burb by chance have the conversion package on the interior?

I've been looking for a sweet conversion Burb w/ the Captains chairs. I'd prefer a 3/4, but that's not a show stopper.

not neurotic IMO...it's a spectacular Sub, and it would be a crying shame to see it become a rust belt victim.

Wish I had the cash, I'd get it for my old lady and the kids. Is the a/c cold and does it cool the whole inside?

How about an 85 stock K5 for partial trade. Its got 33"bfgs and a 454/built 700r4/NP208. Its not perfect so I'm sure it wouldn't mind spending its days outside.
