wuz up with the boomerang shckles??

The boomerang shackles are used for clearance to a cross-member. I've also seen the shackles used on long travel leaf springs for droop and for clearance to the rear shackle mount.

so lets say you were putting a set of 56s in place of a set of 52s...would the bomerang shackles allow you to keep the flip in the same place???

it wouldnt be any different in that since. It would still be a straight line from center to center (bolt holes). You could use the boomerang shackles but it wouldnt really be any different than using regular shackles. They dont move anything just give you clearence as jdnobodi said.

ah i see...my buddy has them on his jeep in the rear but there is no croosmember to clear but they came with his kit..thats why i didnt understand there purpose...
