Xj mod on a 72 blazer in denver

I'm a newbie to the mod scene, was wondering if anyone had installed a xj on a first gen.

I've done some research and have found out that our shafts are splined so some modifications will have to be done.

Anyone have any tips or possibly willing to help out for a case of beer.
