XJ shaft

I dont have one for you: But I've heard of guys doing this to their rigs, and was wondering why? Are they stronger than the old truck shafts or do they eliminate the rag joint or something?
And what needs to be done to them to get them ready for bolt-in?

Just curious. Hope you find one.

I put one in my K5. It really tightened up the steering. Gave it a much firmer feel, not mushy. There are plastic bushings in the shaft that have to be melted so you can adjust it to the right length. Some people also weld up were the rubber damper is. I am going to swap in a new steering gearbox on my K10 and it would be a good time to go ahead and swap in the XJ shaft.

The weekend of the 30th I have several junkyards doing 50% off. I'll try to find a few to resupply the masses. $40 shipped and I weld the top if you want me to
