I just installed the Hooker dual system on my 86 about a month ago and I've already decided to scrap it. The thing has a straight pipe cackle & it drives me nuts. My question, is where can I get a good y-pipe that doesn't have the stupid crinkle bends? Locally I have checked around and all of them have those crappy bends in them. Where should I look next?

you can order mandrel-bent pipe form summitracing. most shops should be able to bend pipe for you with just slight deformation (no crinkling), but most i've seen don't have the equipment to do a mandrel bend.

At one time Flowmaster had a setup for this. If they don't still have the app they might have a universal part that could work.
