well just wanted to spread the good news, the 86 k5 finally hit 200k now its a brand new truck again with only 23 miles on it :wink1: still has the stock tranny in it that has never been rebuilt. so i know theres not much to this thread but i figured i would share it with all of ya

Mine is at around 235,000 and still runs great. Had a few issues here and there but nothing deeper than the valve covers.

Get ready for it then  the trans,,mine died about the 215K mark, now has a hair over 251K and stiiiiillllll :D going !

I'm a little past 217K on my 86 k5. Motor is all stock and never been touched beyond regular matinence and a carb rebuild.

Just rolled over 232k on my 90 today - while pulling my 4500lb boat! Amazing how long these things will last if they are taken care of :bow::bow:

My 75' has over 199k never been opened up that goes for the tranny too. I guess thats why we all talk so highly about our GM's . It's tuff to try and beat these drivetrains.:waytogo: :k5: :crewcab: :burb: :truck: :usaflag:

Got 233K on my 89 blazer and i'm building a new engine at the moment as i know this one is tired even though it still runs good. My engine has only had the intake manifold gasket changed and i did that about 3 years ago otherwise it has never been apart.
