Whoo hoo i pick up my D60 front and 14 rear tonight...then tommorow pickin up the bell housing and clutch pedels then my truck is goin manual!!!! i cant wait...it feels like a little kid waiting for x-mas....

I bet you'll like it! I love mine even though I do no rock crawling and mostly city driving. Nothing like driving a standard and having control over it all! My friends dont understand and wonder how I drive it so much even with the caveman clutch. Its just something about a standard behind a V-8 you'll see!!!

Dude I love my Centerforce2 cluch kit! Very light pressure plate at the pedal too. 100 times better than the old 3fork design.

Are you going hydrolic cluch or linkage??
Might be eaisier to go Hydrolic??

i got the axles from a guy off pirate...he is in discovery bay...and the hydro clutch set up i am getting from a wrecking yard in Rancho Cordova...250 for the pedels, bell housing, slave cylinder and all the other requied parts for it. so its goin in this weekend!

the only thing i need now drive train wise is a locker up front...i am goin to wait till i can aford a ARB for the front...the 14 bolt has a detroit in it already so i am set!

I think I know the guy who sold you the axles. He bought some tires from me a while back. Sounds like you got a good setup with the locker already in. Dude you rig is gonna be bullet proof after you swap all that stuff. Make sure to take some pics.. I wanna see!!

I just bought an 82 Burb and was very stoked to find out it was a manual when I went to look at it! Love it!

i finaly got the axles in my hand and can look at em...i pulled the drums off the rear and it looks like new!!!!...pulled the diff cover off and gear set is perfect and detroit locker seems to be workin fine!....dident get a chance to tear into the D60 yet but tommorow after work i will...got the rear axle ready to sand blast but i need to get the spring perches moved first....i also ordered the ORD cross over kit for the 60...anyone have a cheep 2wd box i can use thats in the central valley (ca)?...i am broke now so i dont know how i am goin to be able to finish the job now...still need to buy a fly wheel, clutch, wheels, and drive shafts (for the 6th time now)....hum...if i get off my ass i should be able to drive it by mid next week...maybe by the end of the weekend!
