Ya'll see this episode of Top Gear??

I laughed when they were banging on the blazer's hood to get it opened.

Anybody know how to fix that?

i loved that episode,i no we could all tear it apart for how they tested and what they did etc. but its a tv show for the general public and i enjoyed it. but honestly thought the jeep was going to destroy the bronco and k5 in stock form. but they didnt do much rock crawling so it was pretty even. he did a good job with keeping it in O.D. and low rpms in the final stretch:haha:

Sniper -- Oil your hood hinges, including the latch! Makes a huge difference. If that doesn't do it, you need to shim the latch up a little bit. Doesn't take much to make it stick.

I'm pretty sure they mentioned the K5 has a 350 in it

I enjoyed it.

The Bronco broke an axle but the K5 didn't! That was funny.

And 3 gallons of gas from Mt. Charleston to downtown Vegas, wow. I know it's mostly (if not all) downhill, but that's pretty good. Shutting it off in traffic too, good idea.

He said he wanted the K5 because of the Alaska trip and the K10 that survived it all. I say good choice. :haha:

It just doesn't have the entertainment value of the original UK topgear. Anyone see the episode where they go to America and buy cars instead of renting?

Rad, havent seen this one. Seen there alaska one and thought it was decent as well.

Yes, freakin hilarious. I watch the UK version all the time, can't wait for the new season to start. I even watch the reruns.

Just finished watching it all. I LOL'erd when they unhooked the camper from the blazer and rolled the bronco on its side to get it across the road.

I seriously thought it was funny. Comparing the UK top gear to our version is like comparing a movie to a book, the book will always be better.

Them crossing the road was absolutely hilarious!

There is one small simple thing that bugged me, they said they had 5k to spend. Really? 5k and thats all you guys could get????????

I liked it though.

Good point. $5k would go a long ways for the Blazer and Jeep.

The Bronco was the only one that "looked" to be worth $5k. I will say, the Bronco looked very nice and it was a shame they destroyed it so much. Hard to watch a really nice looking rig of that era get beat up so much.

Did anyone notice how much the Blazer's steering column was moving when he was driving across some huge bumps? That thing was all over the place!

And the dead cow on top of the car wtf!? haha I have to get on netflix now to see if it's still on there.

I will say I find the US version better than "the car show" or at least the one episode I halfed watched
