For front axle applications, what years did they come in? And is a dana 60 from 70 pickup worth anything? Is it like the newer ones? (73-87)

open knuckle d60's started in 77' or 78' until 91' in V3500's

Older than 77' would be a closed knuckle and they aren't worth as much and aren't as strong.

It looks open to me????

Yeah, Ive read all that stuff already, but I need to know if its open knuckle then is everything good to go?

The axle in that pic isn't a 60, it's a 44. The rear is a coil spring rear, but not out of the same truck. GM started the 60 77 or so, Dodge in the early 70s, same with Ford. The "good" ones didn't come out till 78 on the Ford.
