Some dummy left all his windows down, his sunroof open and his rear sliding windows open yesterday, during a crazy rain storm.

Well, I woke up this morning and peeked in my truck, SHIIT! I flipped out a little bit, then was faced with a dilemma.

Leave the carpet in and let my beauty rust, or tear that **** out.

Well, the floors are completely rust free. An all original '78 PA truck for god's sake. :doah:

So now I need to smooth out all the floors and i'm gonna bedliner my cab floor. I'm also gonna bedliner the rockers, inside and out, and the bottom of the doors inside and out. Is this a good idea?

I'm also wondering how to trim my fenders and make it still look nice. I'll sawzall them, but once I do it will I have to sand them down and repaint where I cut?

you could probaly use a cut off wheel to cut the fenders, and still have it look desent

i am not sure tho, someone with more knowlage of this stuff correct me if i am wrong

Body saw from discount auto

This thing is the best 50 dollar tool I've even bought. I cut through 1/4" steel to make my redneck shackle flip. The sawzall will do a hack job. Thebody saw is very easy to control

Man you should tell that dummy to make sure his windows are all closed when it is raining.:haha: :haha: :haha:

I plan on replacing all the rusted floor panels on my K5 then it is going to be herc'd or similiar. As well as the lower fillers on the rear quarters, bottom inside of the doors, and the inside of the tailgate. Should help prevent the rust for a while.

Sounds like a plan, I am planning to Rhino line my floorboards once the new ones are in! I too have left my sunroof open in torrential rain, on my s-10 blazer I used to have, had to bundle up a towel on the seat so I could drive into work w/o getting soaked from my saturated seat!:doah:
