After searching and hearing what you guys have said about carbs, I decided to buy a Holley Truck Avenger carb after having trouble with my Rochester Q-jet on the steep stuff.
Just got back from testing the carb and the ads are legit. I just crawled up the same stuff that my Q-jet would stall and load up. Excellent at the steep stuff, but not as good as the Q-jet on decline or driveability.
All in all, it is worth it for me. Off to Hollister this week end and look forward to the stuff I fumbled on last trip.
And, no, its not a daily driver. I would go Q-jet for moderate wheelin and DD.
