Yet another tire question

Ok...i searched but couldnt find anything on the big thornbirds...anybody use 40" or bigger thornbirds? i have read that the small ones suck but what about the bigger ones? i can get a helluva deal on some 40s...bigger the better? or do they all suck?

I thought the biggest they went was 38" or so? At any rate they all suck...unless you groove the ever loving Jesus out of them.

Unless they're free, you're on welfare, and they come with a free filet mignon dinner, I wouldn't get them - period, at all, end of story. Spend the money on a better tire. Or groove about 30 lbs of rubber outta 'em, but by then they're really be undependable.

They're called Thornturds for a reason....
