Yet another welder thread

I want to get a new MIG and don't know what to get. Want something more powerful than the little 120v jobbers we have. They are great for body work and minor stuff but I just need mor eheat for my tube and suspension work. Don't want to spend more than like $800 on the mig itself but I am open to suggestions.

I think someone mentionsed a Miller 175 or somesuch going for something like $500 at Home Depot or someplace like that

I was looking at the Lincoln 175. We've only ever had lincolns and never had a problem with them so I'd like to stick with them but hey if ones just better thats that.

This is pretty similar to the lincoln we have at work, are you looking for a dedicated mig welder or do you want to run stick and tig also??
