Tonight I need to swap yokes from one N205 to the other, anything special I need to know? Been a while since I popped a yoke:D I assume just take bolt off and pull yoke then put on other one provided splines are the same. Any puller needed?

No special tools but it's a good time for a new seal.

Also if it's on the front output check the spline shaped rubber washer to see if it needs to be replaced.

some 205's had different splines on the front output. Double check to be sure.

This is the rear output. Original case was 1970 GMC Jimmy, New one is Chevy but I have no idea what year. There was a tab on the PTO cover but the #'s didn't make sense to me.

I will know shortly whether they interchange. Thanks for all the info.

Ok got it in. Splines are the same, gotta buy a new seal since the shaft size is different. Went and bought a cheepie socket to grind on, the one under the truck now the socket fit easily, but the yoke on the old 205 required some grinding on the socket.

Then it was fun trying to break that loose. I ended up putting a loose wood vise for a work bench on the floor and clamping down on the yoke for the front output then standing on the vise and using a 4 foot cheater bar to break the nut loose. I was gonna use the impact but I had bad visions of me, the impact, and the 205 spinning around on the garage floor.
