i found this earlier http://www.onboardair.com/ke-26710/ke-26710.html it says it fits 88 to 96 pre-vortec engines. I have an 88, now what i want to know is, will this fir our K5s, i'm not sure if the engine is different on 88-96 pickups? i know thats when they changed the body, but did they change the engine setup too??? i just want to know, will this fit on my 88 K5?

I am pretty sure the engine in the 88 and up trucks is the same as the ones in our K5's with the serpentine belt set up.

Does that include the pulley? I've heard the serpentine ones are $$$.

That looks like a nice little set-up, but I wonder if there is enough belt contact on the alternator pulley to prevent slippage.

The pic's of the kit show only the brackets and a new belt...
