if found BORGWARNER YORK COMPRESSOR #M1892031 9-72 F209R-16825 would that be a good compressor to buy it would be going on my 91 k5. don't know to much about on board air syestems so any help would be good. also can the be rebuilt if had to. thanks for any help

If you don't know much about on board air go to http://www.onboardair.com and read the FAQ section, and you can also view the entire york service manual there. Even though Kilby wants you to buy all their stuff, you can just use it as a guide to build yours and do it alot cheaper. Good luck!

It should be a 8.69 ci (142 cc), right hand discharge and it should be great. Make sure that it spins freely, that there is suction while spinning with the clutch in and that the clutch engages before you buy it. Look down about a page, I just did this install for about $100 total with a tank.
