Anybody have pics or tips on mounting a york compressor on their 350? Im planning on getting my a/c drained at a shop this week so i can dismantle all the a/c stuff and get that out of the way

my a/c compressor is where your alternator is and i was thinking i want to adapt it to the bracket my a/c compressor is currently on, do yorks need to be mounted vertically for oil reasons and such?

got this off of a junkyard earlier, chevys van of some era, i took the brackets too because the van had a 350, although it was mounted relatively high compared to the engine i noticed the bolt holes match up on the bottom and both the sides so im gonna see how it fits tipped to the driver side, im just waiting on some parts so i can get my truck rolling ac evacuated and dismantled. the york has the sharp crank so it should be the big displacement version and the clutch worked, for 30$ im a happy camper.

Yep it is the big displacement. The plate says F210R in the second set of numbers. 2 piston 10 SCFM. Nice score. I had that same bracket with mine but I was not going to use it so I gave it to Readymix. I am going to remove my AC all together and put it where the AC is now.

PM beufchris, he has a nice setup that is mounted on his drivers inner fender well. Real nice setup.

Did you ever got that bracket to mount on your engine?

I was looking at the bracket I got from Ira last night and haven't figured out how it mounts yet. It seems like only a few of the mounting holes are going to line up.
