york oil

how does the oil go in a york and what kind? I work at a diesel shop and most of the a/c compressors are yorks just like the ones everyone on here runs. but how is it oiled? is there any differance between then and the ones on here people run? they are made by york and look identical.

Use straight 30w oil in the york and they are filled from either side through a small threaded plug.

That's what I put in mine. And Kilby had a dipstick.

so would my york a/c compressor be the same? i guess i can pull the bolt out and see if oil comes out if it does then i guess the compressor will work for obo.
