I am looking to finish installing my york. I have mounted the comp and just need to plumb it. I have been looking at kilby and other places about all the things I need to get it going. The price is steep for his new parts. I have in the garage a craftsman $99 compressor that I think has all the things I need to get it going.

It has the pop off valve and a tank I can mount in my blazer. It has a pressure shut off valve and unloader with check valve. Other than the oil coaleser (sp?) What do I need that this does not have? I think this is going to be much cheeper than buying everything new. What do you guys think?

You might be on to something, the only thing I would check is if any of your cuttoff switches are not made for 12v they might fry.
12v has higher amps and you might not like the outcome.:D
I am trying to remember where I had found all the parts for cheap, I remember there was a post on some website and I had saved it then my PC crashed, but supposedly you could get all the parts minus tank for under $50

The only electrical draw will be from the clutch on my york. I can't imagine it will be too much for a system that is designed to start the electric motor on the original compressor. I will let you know.

It works great! I just set it up and tried it out and it works just as it should. Should be a cheep way to get all the little things you need to install your oba.

I had the compressor and figured I could get all the parts for free from it rather than buying it all. I am very happy. So far it works just as its suposed to.

I have a question for you. My york is out of a volvo and is the big displacement one. It does not have the holes to line up on the bottom. I had to lay it on its side and mount it, but now I can't use your piece to tighten the belt because the holes are different and I am afraid to unbolt the bottom cover to use those holes because then the cover would only have 2 to maintain the seal. I have it working, but I think I might have an odd ball.
