Thanks

Not sure but they aren't hard to find. Those style compressors were used on lots of Chrysler products. The standard yoke is a twin cylinder compressor also but not a V-twin.

Some of the pages out there show using a dryer on the discharge to catch any oil that might escape the compressor. You really don't want that oil in your tires. Short term wouldn't be an issue, but long term could be.
I recall one system out there that had a dryer on the discharge and an oiler on the intake. They were modified so that the dryer drained into the oiler. How cool is that ?

I'm not sure who makes the V twin found on Chrysler products, but mine does not have a York tag on it. The biggest York displaces about 10 cubic inches. The V twin I have displaces 11.2 cubes. Advantage of the York is that it can be laid on it's side, in either direction. Scout II's w/ A/C have them laid over to the right stock. The V twins can only be mounted upright. They have an actual gerotor pump to pressurize their oil supply. The Yorks are splash lubed.

The Yorks do have REALLY cool aluminum connecting rods though. I have one that kicked it's rod out.

I'm famous? How many minutes does this use up?

Ironically I brought some York parts to work today for some mods. Government Job, don't cha kno...
FWIW, I may be wrong on the splash lubrication of the Yorks. I've not yet opened one up, but they do appear to have something that could be a pump.
