Some people asked about these and I found one. I will let you all duke it out for it. Supersize was one but he said he would pass so here is the one I found for who ever else wanted to know about them.

NOS Chevy step inserts for fleetside pick-up. Can't tell the year but by the appearance of the box, it looks to be late 50's or early 60's. All aluminum but dirty from years of sitting around. Should clean up nice and shiny. Nice retro look for a newer truck or rat-rod. One step has very small crack in bottom left that doesn't show in photos. For the box collector, the box is nice but the tabs on top have been taped a couple of times.
Outside flange: 9 3/4" X 5 1/2" Cutout: 7 3/4" X 4" Depth: 4 1/8"
