You guys ready for East Coast Blazer Bash?

:cool1: I will be there Thursday-Sunday. Driving mine as a daily driver. Always ready. Just some small things to finish up for me.

Keith??!!

Holy ****e!! I have been wondering what happened to all of you GA boyz! The last time I saw you was also the last time I was at Tellico...(May 2002)

I am really anxious to get this s-15 Blazer done, but if noe I have the back up truck:grin:

Truck update---Got both axles linked today....Spring mounts designed and I am going to send them to the CNC Plasma cutter place Monday. Then its time to get it all gusseted/welded/braced up.

Should be rollin in 2 weeks....under its own power in 3.

Rob

For those of you who have never been to Tellico, Lower 2 is looking pretty NASTY so come prepared or don't come at all.

i know we had "big boy pop" when we went to Badlands, this is the equivalent of "little boy beer" (a la- non-alcoholic)

I think that weekend is one of my Everyother Sundays I have to work, I'll double check though. I'm off Thursday, Friday, Saturday:p:

I'm planning onn going but at this point I have quite a bit to finish.

List is as follows:

Get K5 off trailer :D

Remove heater core and loop lines around to bypass it: Today (HC started leaking "ON" the trailer during the tow from Delaware to NC)

Hook up electric fan - Either my heater core problem was causing it to get warm or I need some extra cooling

Remove open carrier and 30 spline shafts & hubs from the front...Add Detroit, 35 spline shafts and drive flanges

Remove hardtop and put on soft top

Buy some Johnny joints and fab a rear anti wrap bar so I dont pretzel my 57" rear springs

Make rear upper shock mount

Add fuel cell and electric pump

Did I mention I have a lot to do:blush:

well i just checked up on map quest im looking at about 13 hours 7oo+ miles to get there.

I just made that trip yesterday (delaware to asheville, nc) It's a good drive. You can go 2 ways. 95 south to 85 south to 40 west or get over to I-81 and shoot straight down. Never been down 81 though. On the 95-85-40 trip, you can run 70 most of the way and parts of 40 have a 70mph speed limit = 80mph ;)

Birthdays...mine and my youngest boy's is the week before. He'll turn one and I'll turn old. I second the vote for no coors and you can keep the Odules. I like Bud and lots of it.:xmas: I plan on breaking my front 10bolt early in the trip so I can watch, video, snap pics and then I can drink. Bring on the fun!

My 4.0 Jeep cherokee worked just fine pulling the 4x8 u-haul trailer yesterday

:p:

Try my 14k GVWR trailer with my truck on it and see how fast it goes.

Sounds perfect. Budweiser is fine with me as well, but since I'm not the birthday boy, we'll let him decide.

That is one thing I do not want to do. Some of us do not have the luxury of a tow vehicle or a trailer, YET. Still working on the tow vehicle........

We love it here so far. Never trout fished but have done lots of lake fishing for bass, bluegill, catfish....
Might have to give trout fishing a go.

Just drove thru your town again last night on our way back from delaware. You're only 75 miles away. when we have the house warming party (someday)...c'mon down

I plan on canoeing either the Valley River or the Hiawasse River Friday of the Bash, weather permitting. Hope to have a good fish tale for the bonfire Friday night.

Usually when you break your front 10 bolt, you can drive home anyway. Given that you have 40s on a 10 bolt, plan on it breaking, especially with me there, I'm hoping to have a cage and some locks by then, and I plan on going ballistic and breaking my own **** while we're there.
