you guys will hate me but..

i have one with body damage.. I just want one that looks nice and is close to stock..


to be more honest the girl friend really thinks its nice and said she would even drive it:D
 
made an offer of 4500 today, he is not very conversational about it but he has never said much. It seems like a low offer but im not in a hurry and he does not seem in any real need to get rid of it.

cross your fingers! or...for the rest of you..wish me bad luck.:D

If he takes the offer ill keep the green truck till the buggy is done, that should the little red one alive and well. also found out the heater core is leaking so he blocked the hose off/bypassed it and the rear end makes a little noise. I think I would just toss a semi floater 6 lug 14 bolt and call it good, but I dont see those being deal breakers.
 
Good luck, just hope it doesn't get wrecked catch on fire or get taken through the squeez rock. I like that green one you have i think you should keep that one

psh...yeah right...well I found a good deal on a 14ff so we'll do that instead of the sf...well as long as we're under there we could do a d60! Ooooo I found a good deal on some 38" TSL's....:grind::weld::hack::yikes:

My wife won't drive either one of my trucks, and that's the way I like's it.
 
lol..forget driving I can't get my family to even ride with me (well not counting dad)....:)

Well, I won't ever let anyone else drive my truck, but no one in my family will ride with me (except for Dad of course) because they can't get in it. I told them I'll never get steps, and that they'll just have to develop leg muscles to jump the three feet to get in there. My friends on the other hand, I can't seem to keep out...

I am thinking about bumping it up to five grand and asking him to think it over, or I might hand him the cash and see if he bites? he said he will be back on thursday. also noise sounds like just a wheel bearing, like an iddiot I said that:doah:
 
Should have told him his flux capacitor is going bad! Hmmm... $5000? There's a M1009 (?) '86 K5 with 18,000 original miles, super clean interior, and straight body with new paint for $4000 OBO. But it seems girls don't like olive drab :(.

Have you been on the lookout on craigslist? There are some pretty nice Blazers in my area for good prices...
 
i have been looking for a while, there are alot of nice ones on craigslist,

this one is nice and has lived a simple life, I could eat off the motor, the guy has been real kind to it:D
 
I know what you mean; mine has lived in Elk Grove it's whole life, I'm the fourth owner, and the previous two were mechanics, with the original working at a Chevy dealer. It was so clean the day I got it, but then, well, I got to it. ;)
 
Nice looking k-5... I wish I could just go buy another truck and another k5... But I have to sell my '74 to buy a car since my grandmother has ended up in the hospital again and she can't get into eather of my blazers and needs a ride at times. No one else in my family will drive eather blazer... So I need to get a car....

yesterday he turned me down, he said he is not ready to part with it but he did get my contact info, bummer. I might look at a couple jeep cherokees now lol:crazy:
 
That guy's a member here and knows what it's in for if he sells it to you.:wink1:
 
I didn't really have time to read through the whole thread, just enough time to scroll through the pics... All I have to say is, RUN LITTLE BLAZER RUN HE'S GOING TO HURT YOU!! NEVER TRUST A MAN WITH A GRINDER AND SAWZALL!!
