How about a new blue top Optima that retails for $160+ for only $14. still has the warranty tag on it. The local fire company was having a yard sale. most of the people were selling the usual junk and kids clothes. But one guy was selling things out of the firehall. Mostly mugs, t-shirts and junk except for this. They bought it and couldn't use it for their application.

I don't need it, and have no idea what I will do with it, but for the price I couldn't pass it up.

I thought about putting it on my trailer. it has a standard car battery now. But it's good. I'll probably end up selling it or trading it. I'll ship it anywhere but it weighs 40 lbs so shipping isn't cheap.

that would be overkill. I could run my truck on a motorcycle battery if I had to. I only have minimal gauges (oil pressure, temp, tach) and the distributor. no lights or a winch to worry about. I would have more wrapped up in wiring and mounting it up for duals then it's worth. Along with the fact that its 40 more lbs I need to tow to the trail and back. I am slowly stripping all the weight out of the truck.
