Thorley Tri-Y's. Never needed to replace the original header gaskets in over 12 years. Still original collector gaskets too. Still good headers. Will probably get another 10 years out of them. Felt a definite increase in torque on a stock 350 with q-jet.

I notice some more power out of mine too, along with converting to electric fans as well. I just need to get mine timed and tuned correctly and I will probably notice a ton more power. I've had it at 3 shops and everytime I get it back, it still hesitates and runs like crap..

I have no experience with headers, but several mechanics and a muffler guy that I trust have all said cats don't create back pressure. In fact, I was told to leave them on and take the mufflers off if I had to get rid of something.
