Ok so I'm going to swap out the 4.10 R/P and carrier for a 5.13 carrier and R/P. My question is will the barrings I already have in there swap or do I have to get bigger ones for the new carrier and R/P? I ask because the barrings in there are BRAND NEW--right out of the box brand new so I'd like to keep them

The bearings should work just fine! I reused mine when I went from 3.73 to 5.13 setup.

I'm hoping to get all the paper work/financial stuff taken care of this week but yeah I'm pretty sure I'm getting it. and then I'm just going to sell off the stuff I can't use. I looked into selling the parts and it looks like I should be able to get rid of them pretty quick.

Luckly, I've been getting tons of shirt jobs this month and I should be able to found my 60 project very soon.

Yeah I think it's the same price. It's definitly gonna hurt the pocket book but in the end I don't think I can buy one and all the stuff to build it for any better of a price. It would only spread out the final price instead of just getting it all out of the way in one lump sum. But atleast I'll have it and be a ble to start building it.

with a detroit locker for the 60 does it replace the carrier or go inside it like a 14bolt? So if I want to go with the detroit do I need to buy a new carrier.

the detriot replace the carrier. your going to need a 4.56 & up detriot for 5.13's or get a ring gear spacer and you'll be able to use that detriot.

no ring gear spacer...I haven't heard one good thing. I was just curious if I needed to add in the cost of a new carrier along with the detroit.
