nope, thats if you`re using the zero rate to move the axle....

thats the same thing tho, but instead of using 2 pins, you just use one big one

So, what is the extra bolt for that comes with the zeros, for when you use the "offset" option, or???

yea its only used when u want to use it to move the axle. i used to have the front offset, and the rear was just in stock location

Yeah, they just bolt in like another leaf would.

When you are taking the springs apart, be sure to use a c-clamp to hold them together. If you dont, your springs will separate when you take the center pin out. Once you have it out, throw the zero rate on the bottom, throw in the new center pin, tighten, and voila! Cake.

So it all comes down to a lift block - a small one though.

Did I miss something?

Walter
It`s not a lift block, it bolts directly to the leaves. Its not an AAL because it doesnt add anything to the rates. Its a Zero-Rate!:D

still wanting a picture, i see the drawing, but i think that gives me the idea, a pic would help for sure when i slap some together

You want pics of them installed without the axel bolted to them but this is what I have. Although, I put the shims between the zero rates and the leaf pack. Don't know if this is a problem but I did this because the shims I used are aluminum and I didn't think it would make much of a difference. What do you others think? No problems so far. Here are my pics.

Ok, I'm confused. Prolly cause I can't look at the attached images. I just purchased zero rates as well and arn't really sure how to install them. I want to move the axle forward 1.5" so do I need to bolt the ZR on with the original hole, and then drill another one for the pin into the axle?

the bolt with the rounded head always goes in the center hole with the rounded end at the bottom. if you plan on offsetting the axle, run that bolt through the center hole and tighten it down, cut it down level with the top of zero rate.

now with the regular looking bolt, put it through one of the offset holes in the zero rate(nut on top). this is the bolt goes through the zero rate from the bottom and up through the hole in the leaf pack. slap the nut on there, tighten it down and you are good to go.
