zero rate question

personally i dont see why not... you just have to adjust the link..... forget the proper term... draglink?

however far you move the axle forward is how far your have to shorten the draglink. if you have crappy steering now, it's only going to get worse as you shorten the draglink.

dont do it, youll regret it. The stock steering is bad enough and it will only get alot worse!

well i can live with the push-pull, just wanted to know if it is functional at all? my truck just looks funny and needs the tires moved forward

I have zero rates with 4" BDS springs. I moved the axle an 1.5" forword. The steering is worse. I basically have no steering to the left. This is just a temp setup till I get a 60 and crossover.

I asked this question in regards to 52's. Boy, did I feel flamed. My reasoning was that the 52 swap moves the axle forward 1.5". If I install the zero rate to move the axle 1.5" back, this should correct this problem. Don't get me wrong, I realize that a crossover would be ideal, but for now I can live with push/pull. In the future, I will go with crossover. A friend of mine installed 54's in the front, and retains the stock push- pull stearing.
