anyone running a zero rate in the front with push/pull steering...i would like to gain 1.5 inches in front but is there enough threads on the draglink???im gonna be running tuff country ez rides...

I've got 4" springs and a homemade zero-rate (cut down overload) with a aftermarket steering arm and all is fine.

Yes you can run a zero rate, but you won't be able to move the axle forward/backward any because of the geometry of the stock steering.

You sure about that? I've been told otherwise.

I was told that it would mess with the push-pull geometry of the steering, and I see how it could screw it up. But, it's not like I've never been wrong before, so I dunno... if you can, I'd love to know.

Hmmm... people are all over the place. Although it seems it is possible. I just don't remember how much thread the factory draglinks had, because my truck has a Pro Comp dropped one on it. Thanks though. :D

I installed 6 inch front springs last night and my drag link was fine, so I dont see why 4inch front springs and zeros would be a problem.

I talked to Stephen at ORD today and he said he's done it with a 4" lift and the stock steering setup. It was still the so-so stock steering system but it worked.

He also said that he couldn't see why the zero rates wouldn't work with a stock suspension and stock steering.
