Zero rate? what does it do?

I have been reading alot about these, What exactly do they do. Pros and cons? Could be used in the front as well as the rear? Thanks

I'm running them on my rig. It lifts the front or the rear 1" and you have the option to push the axle forward or backward for a better approach angle. Bolts straight to the spring pack and you'll 1" longer ubolts. Alot just put them in the back to fix the sagging but look but I just put one in the front to move my axle out. My K5 doesn't sag in the rear but thats prob because I don't run a top, doors or tailgate.
