Overview
This ‘58 Impala was bought and restored by a local couple around 1980.
It was partially selected for it being the husbands high school graduation year.
Since then they had spent time driving it to local cruise ins and just generally enjoying the car.
It had been really well taken care of since the restoration until the last year or so that he has been bedridden and under Hospice care.
They were ready to sell it but had not been actively trying to.
I know it was hard for them to let it go of but they also knew it was time.
It was important to them that someone have it that would take care of it and keep it local.
Fortunately for me we had a mutual friend who introduced us and vouched for me.
