We ended up making the floor out of 2 pieces laid sideways to get the width we needed and welding them together. we matched patterns
with the box in place we can start selecting body pieces that are good. Trying to use really good factory stuff first, but hard to find
I like it better than the wood floor for stuff like we will do with the truck. I hope it hauls out a 6x6 bull elk next fall
Now the box can sit on the frame till paint and body time. It will be truck bed lined fully inside after paint

The floor metal needed is more than 48" wide. Our metal supplier in our nearest town had only 4'x8' sheets of 3/16
We counter sunk the holes for the floor braces and used 1/4" stainless counter sunk bolts. The floor is modular not welded to the braces
