Well, I came back here to update this sucker.
In typical ford fashion this thing ran good for two days or so then started missing. It started consuming water, looking like a steam engine hybrid so my brother parked it.
Fast forward to today, he called me and asked me to come grab this crate from his shop.

He's gonna LS swap it? 
Brought the truck over today and pulled the engine. Started transferring parts over to the new long block. Very productive day.

Yep, youngest has her playoffs yesterday, today and maybe tomorrow depending on tonight’s game. Me and my brother have been working on this thing in between games.

First trip in the books. He took it to the gas station to fill up and back. No codes and everything is happy and smelling good.
Been out of town for six days, but got back and took my brothers truck to get smogged.
