‘72 CST K5 Gen 5 Swap

Gen V swap of first gen K5
These are next on the list. Wade, you probably won’t need the swap pan on your 2wd chassis.

Firsthand about the pan and headers, they are bad ass! @Fastereddie why no ORD motor mounts, fitment different on the Gen1 K5?

FYI, I hear that the oil pan on the 6.6 liter model motor that I have will fit. I am quite sure that the holley one will work but dang they are pricey.

The truck pans are too thick at the front half.
You can get a crappy knock off of the Holley pan for 2-300 bucks but the casting is so bad. I’ve seen most of them leak.

Here’s a side by side of the l83/l86 pan and the Holley

Every day, it seems that I get further and further from being able to drive my L8T swapped Blazer. I really hope to land a new position soon so I can start spending to finish this thing. Being laid off sucks. I used the Holley pan on my L96 6.0 swapped 76 Regal and I was very pleased with the product other than the price.

I hear ya. It’s hard to party sometimes. I just build other guys stuff because I’m broke too!
