‘75 Fullvert Blazer- K5 Cody’s build- 8.1 swap***48 days to C10’s in the Park***

Restomod build for a late friend
Ended up running a total of 1.5” worth of aluminum spacers under the mod’d factory gmt800 throttle bracket. Then ran a stock DBC accelerator cable. It fit perfectly to the throttle body and the pedal.

Here you can see the butterfly opening. The pedal stops a few inches above the floor board.

I feel like it cleans up the engine bay as well as adds a little extra modern engine look to it. Yes, plastic, but still modern…..right lol

Also, not everyone is going to know exactly what that is, so the cover with the badge helps.

It’s been +100° for 2 weeks now so haven’t been doing as much. Did get the vacuum figured out for the trans and brakes then final install of the intake. Today is the last day of this heat wave, so I plan to hit it again moving forward.

Drilled and tapped the EGR block off plate and used this vacuum fitting that came off the back of the medium duty intake. Then just a standard 90° 3/8 npt hose barb.

Any help here on this one?

Medium duty engine, and it had the ZF pump. This is the ZF pulley but a hydroboost saganaw pump. Did they make a medium duty pulley for the hydroboost setup? I need the proper medium duty alignment but a bigger shaft opening on the pulley.

Worked out in the shop for a bit tonight. Started with pulling the truck accessories pulley from the PS pump and tossing it in the truck and connecting lines. Then I pulled the mouse chewed injector harness and nasty injectors from the fuel rail. There was rusty fuel/water in the rail, so I sprayed it clean with brake clean then coated inside with some WD40. I located my known good low mileage injectors I bought a couple of years back and also located a good condition injector harness. Tomorrow I’m going to finish installing the injectors and rail and then start running fuel supply lines.
