Everyone has to replace the footwell anyway. You just won’t have to cut the patch panels down as much.

The driver’s side window was rolled down and the regulator was broken, so who knows how long it sat like that.
It took me 4min of messing with it to at least get it in the up position. Some people are their own worst enemies.
Are you going to two tone it? It would look great with white down the middle.

Spent a little time at lunch cleaning up some more and just checking things out.
This is the nicest dash I have ever owned in a square body. The windshield cracks makes it look worse than it is, but there are only a couple cracks in the dash.
I’m also happy to see the rear cargo area in pretty great shape too. Once I get this rear window figured out and down, I’ll be spraying the inside of this thing down to really see what I’m working with.
Also picked up the free crusty carb. Going to go through it before I slap it on.

Threw a battery in last night and found a missing ground strap. All exterior lights work, side markers were just burnt out.
Tried to start it, but found that starter bendix would not move. So I’ll be picking up a new starter this weekend.
Also a couple things I noticed while under there. The torque converter is bright yellow, anyone have any ideas on that? Then I noticed 2 cross members with a skid plate attaching the 2. Is that normal?

Yep, those are out there. Not sure if optional, or aftermarket.

Thanks man! The more I dig into this the more cool stuff I find. I liked my k10 a lot, but this build will work with the family and is such a nicer platform to start with.
Pretty much the reason I switched to Blazers over trucks.
So after some recent discoveries, I believe the ‘75 has around a 2.5” lift. I swore it looked like a 4” but with the Jimmy next to it, it’s pretty obvious that it’s shorter.
So that being said, I’ll be hunting for a decent set of 33’s to throw on the rallies.
