4L60? does anyone know what sensor this is? passenger side below throttle cable, somehow came loose and fried on the exhaust…weird i cannot find a correct schematic anywhere online.

That is a pressure switch on the 4th pressure port. Chances are good it was wired as part of the TCC lockup circuit. There's no schematic because that setup was never used from the factory. Look for kits from Bowtie Overdrives, B&M and the like. They probably show some setups like this. Look for a vacuum switch on the firewall (that's the factory location, although theoretically it could be located anywhere) that would unlock under higher engine loads. Having it lock only based on 4th gear isn't ideal. Do you have any idea what the internal wiring is or what the transmission is out of?

thank you, that is what a friend of mine guessed, unfortunately the shop that rebuilt the trans is no longer in business. it was fine for a few months then started getting stuck in 3rd, now it shifts all over the place, neutral then 3rd, i have to shift into park at stop lights to get back into 1st…
im not sure who converted it, the last shop just overhauled it, but i have no contact with them
