‘75 Fullvert Blazer- K5 Cody’s build- 8.1 swap***C10’s in the park*** Back to assembly.

Restomod build for a late friend
Looks pretty clean! That is a really cool color. I can’t wait to see more progress on this.
Thanks man! I think the next purchase is some tires. These keep going flat, and it really makes it look terrible sitting here. Some nice 33’s with white letters.
It did clean up very good!
I knew it would, but the wife was super surprised. She actually likes the color now.

Spending the day throwing together a 50ft wheel/tire combo. Got a cheap set of wheels and hub caps a while ago, and last week picked up an cheap set of 33’s. The end goal is powder coated cucv wheels and a new set of 33’s. But this will do for a while as I gather new parts.

Tires are some 1/3rd tread Hankook Dynapro ATM’s

Rusty pitted steel wheels that I wire wheeled and rattle canned.

Actually got side tracked while I was working on the blazer this morning. Got the carb, plugs, plug wires, and vacuum hooked up. Threw a battery in, and getting ready to see if this thing will fire. For now I’m just using starting fluid as I have not checked yet as to the condition of the tank and lines.

Welp, big suck just happened. Motor is locked up. Starter wouldn’t budge it, so I put a breaker bar on the crank. No go.

Im going to at least before I pull it out.
Dang. I gave away the 350 that was in my '75 Blazer back in December. Crappy timing I guess. Soak that biatch. Worst case you need to yank it out anyway.
