Fan shroud work with the taller rad or will that open a new can of worms? I'd just keep same size as stock for simplicity.

HD radiator.
That sucks… I’d want the bigger rad, but the shroud is definitely an issue.
Ran a quick errand this morning to the post office a couple miles away. Radiator leaks, but not bad enough to where I can’t do short drives. While on my way back the front end popped pretty good, so when I got back I put a jack under it. Found the LH upper ball joint is shot, and I also found the bearings are pretty noisy. So I guess I’ll go through the front end while I’m digging in to it.

I put the taller HD radiator in the 73 C10 and it works too good. Only time it gets over 180 is running the AC in stop and go traffic when it's over 95°F. In the winter I have to completely block the grill. I added a block heater so I have heat at some point in my commute before I actually get there. If I did it again I would get the HD cooling version of the short radiator for AC equipped; that's what it came with originally.
What no jack stand?
About 4-6min of heat and a few good whacks from a small sledge did the trick.

Lots of nasty burnt crap came out, but all the bearings and races looked good still. Regreased and properly tightened.
Now it drives a lot better. Only a few more things left to get this legally and safely on the road.

Next item is the mirrors and windshield. My buddy has a good used windshield, so the plan is to learn how to swap those ourselves (neither of us has ever done it).
I was looking at the door today, and noticed the extra holes in it. Never really paid attention, but it appears someone eff’d these doors up and swapped on some crappy Ferd/“tow” mirrors instead of the factory sport equipped mirrors. For now I am just going to put the sport mirrors back on and I’ll fill the holes when I repaint it.
So on that note, anyone have any sport mirrors they’d sell cheap?

LMC probably sells those pretty cheap. Those are the same mirrors on my FIL's K5 I posted that's the same color as yours. He probably wouldn't like me borrowing them.
I think I have these mirrors on my K5 I will take a pic tonight. I am swapping doors most likely and I hate them. I will shoot you a pic.
Have you ever driven a vehicle with the "Sport Mirrors"? Might as well just leave them off, you'll be able to see the same amount.

The sport mirrors are not my end goal. Mainly just filling the holes until I weld the others up and paint.
Or do I just add more holes and put the mirrors on that I want?
Do the good ones. Way better to see than to worry about holes in that old girl.
Did some small touch up yesterday and painted a couple small things. Going to get new door caps as these ones have warn off the gel coat. Nothing big cause it was super humid yesterday.
