Just a guess, but a lot of people really want the rear width to match the front.
I’d absolutely prefer it (I like symmetry) but not gonna worry about it.
Spent some time buffing the paint and cleaning some chrome last night. I’ll get a better picture later today.
Better swap out that mangled rear bumper so it matches the front better.
Still looks good in the daylight.

Saturday was for the Blazer!
Towed it down south 2 hours to take it to its first car show, Tacos and Tailgates. Lots of compliments and thumbs up on the way down.
Got to Fort Scott and unloaded at a Walmart and cruised on I to the show and found some shade.
Again, lots of compliments on the Blazer and tons of people saying they never see full verts anymore.
Afterwards we cruised over to a super cool mural on an underpass for some pictures with my Dad and buddy that tagged along.
After we were done in Forst Scott we headed back home. Did a few small things around the house then headed out to cruise the local blvd and grab some ice cream.
Truck is a blast to drive, but still need some carb adjustments and a new rear driveshaft.

Welp, Pop’s officially couldn’t stand it anymore. Had to get one of his own. Drove mine up to the storage unit to check it out tonight. He picked up a ‘75 with a soft topper and some nasty ass 20’s. It’s got a 4” lift so he plans on picking up some 35’s and running them on rallies.

Found a good Squarebody connection today. Dude has a ton of stuff. Like 40ish trucks sitting at his house. Scored a nice pair of driveshafts for the Blazer today. Going to get a parts list together and swing by his place again in a week or 2.
Been driving this thing every chance I get. Replaced the driveshafts last Wednesday, then drove it to work in the rain the next day. With the locker in the rear and short wheelbase it gets a bit squirrelly when it’s wet.
