I think this truck will get a Blazer rear bumper. Piecing parts together at my work to get an idea of a build cost.
Is that the same as the regular truck "sport" rear bumper?

Ok then. I'll allow it.
Well then let me run this next idea past you.
A good shop that I sell parts to asked if I needed anything for the truck. I said, "did you see pictures? It needs a lot."
He then asked if I would be interested in a set of 3:73 axles and a 4-6" lift for it for free.
I was already thinking 2-3" lift and some 33's, but now I'm thinking a 4" and 35's.
Yes or no?

I’d say 35’s and a 4”. But I like the bigger tire lower lift look. Never been a fan of having more height than you need. I’m on 4” suspension and 1” body with 37’s and while they rub at full stuff it’s not by much. 35’s would clear with ease.
Bumper off a Suburban fits too if you come across a good one. They wrap around the sides a bit more.

And actually the step bumpers look clunky and aren’t that strong. They are always bent look at the one that’s on it.
Yes. It’s actually 4wd.
Yeah I’d remove leafs to get it down to a 4” lift if it ends up being a 6”.

Yep. This thing with be lifted on some 35’s with his bumpers powder coated, but honestly will be a street queen since I have the K5.

So whats the point of fabbed bumpers? If its not going to be wheeler you will never match the looks of some sport bumpers. Or some truck bumpers. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
And I was just checking to see if it actually had a transfer case. Or if it was bluetooth like another truck I know of.

I'm all for beefier bumpers. Helps with deer and small cars that get in the way. I say go which ever direction the free/cheap parts takes you with this build.
