The metal wants to be awesome, you just have to heat it up a bit to see it's full potential.
I worked all day yesterday making the 2nd door.
Then I started working on the interior side.
The 8" ram should be here today.

I got a pair of saddle bags out of a junk yard suburban and cut the arm rest off the door and this is what I got.
Next I need to address the hacked up speaker hole.
...Then get rid of the clown colors.

Dang. What did they have in the door - a 12" subwoofer? I don't think I've ever seen that big of a speaker hole in a door before. I bet that would make it harder to shut the door. A 12" woofer I mean.

Half doors are done.I just need to install them and add camo.
I decided to cut the bondo back in a line and let the rocks take care of the rest. Let's not forget what these will be used for.
...as for the sto box I will worry about that later. I'm thinking I could put an ammo can there one day.

Now it's GM indigo metallic on the inside , and primer gray on the outside.

I just painted it to match. That's the beauty of rattle can camo.
Now I need to run it thru the ringer to get the dents to match up.

Yes sir. It has been there for years now. I just cleaned it up a little bit. Is it too obnoxious? Should I tone it down a little bit?

You can see it has always been CK. The PO painted it, it used to be CK4.
I like CK5 better.
