I'm not a hot rod builder and this isn't a show truck. It's better than it was so I'm happy with it.
I just hope I don"t crack the new windshield and pray it doesn't leak...

roof battle damage
This stupid homemade light bar was the worst thing I could have done to my roof. The mounting plates were flat and dented the roof top and I drilled holes through both layers of the sheet metal to mount it.
Whenever I turned the lights on it would created a blinding glare on the hood. EPIC FAIL
I would have never attempted a fix like this had I not been inspired by you guys right here on CK5.

That's pretty much it for the upper corner...
...as I was wire wheeling the crud out of the weather seal groove I found another spot.
I think I can fix it real quick. We'll see...

After seeing al the internal rust in these corners I have absolutely no confidence in the structural integrity.

Now is the time. Take it from me, if you think you're going to be able to get around to doing it "after the wedding", you're wrong. Other things will take priority and you won't ever get around to getting it done. Your safety is paramount anyway. You want to be able to be alive for the trip down the aisle don't you?

I don't think it would be hard to justify spending time and money on something that will definately increase safety. Besides, the future Mrs. Pblaze seems to be down with the whole off roading hobby (for now at least). No one wants to be married to a quadraplegic if it can be prevented.
