‘89 K5 Project Negotiating

I thought so too. I wasn’t looking for another project, but I couldn’t pass that up.

Also, it comes with all the interior. He pulled it to fix the rust. But is too scared to try it.
 
Nice find. I'd be too scared "not" to fix that rust. Not that big of a deal once you get started. Just dig in and go. :waytogo:
 
I think that it's a good deal, but I would not like to have a rust repair project...
Call me chicken, or lazy....

But anyway, I didn't think that an '87 had that steering wheel, or that outside trim.
Combine those with the mini-quad nose, and I would guess '89 at least. Maybe I'm wrong. I just thought that the '87 had the 2 large spoke steering wheel.
 
And if it is, you should have a smile with the NP241.

FYI, I sold just the mechanical speedo housing and drive parts on fleebay for $140 plus shipping. So you may really have found a deal!!!!

Yeah it does suck. But at least it’s not as bad as they get up north.
 
Kind of weird all that rust appears but the outer rockers/sheetmetal look intact. Great deal on that K5.
 
Can’t beat that for 300!
That’s easy rust to fix... doesn’t need to be perfect or paint matched.
 
Yeah thanks fellas. I wasn’t able to bring it home today. The guy still has to get the title. I told him I’m still interested even if it doesn’t have a title, but I’d rather wait to get it. He said it’s mine, and not going anywhere. So now I wait.....
 
I hate to be a Debbie downer but go back, give him some money and get a bill of sale. I've had a bunch of sure things fall through...just a thought. That way it's your truck. Title or not, you have a piece of paper with a signature to prove it belongs to you.
